Php nuke

Can phpnuke be used ona windows98 platform running appache
with php and mySQL ? What is phpnuke for exactly ?

I just read the PHP-nuke.org FAQ and it answered my questions.
(and yes it does run under windows - if anyone didn't know!)

It's PHP, so it'll run on any platform that supports PHP (Apache or IIS).

And now that you know what it is.... It's fairly useful, but unfortunately you can almost always spot a site made using it because of the distinctive layout and features.

So if you do use it, try to change the layout and design sufficiently - If you can.

Yes I see the format - almost always a wide middle column with two narrow columns at each side.

Yes, and to be honest with you it doesn't get all that much more exciting either... I have seen so many and they all pretty much look the same. Basically the same way with similar ASP progs, they tend to look the same as well.
