Can phpnuke be used ona windows98 platform running appache
with php and mySQL ? What is phpnuke for exactly ? Thanks. |

I just read the PHP-nuke.org FAQ and it answered my questions.
(and yes it does run under windows - if anyone didn't know!) |

It's PHP, so it'll run on any platform that supports PHP (Apache or IIS).
And now that you know what it is.... It's fairly useful, but unfortunately you can almost always spot a site made using it because of the distinctive layout and features. So if you do use it, try to change the layout and design sufficiently - If you can. |

Yes I see the format - almost always a wide middle column with two narrow columns at each side.

Yes, and to be honest with you it doesn't get all that much more exciting either... I have seen so many and they all pretty much look the same. Basically the same way with similar ASP progs, they tend to look the same as well.
