hey there
Is there anyone else out there who uses other programme for web design thats better than dreamweaver in coding php? I havent tried any other

Lot's, erm... mac or pc?
BBedit is great for any coding (mac), so is textwrangler and there's another one that I can't remember for mac but it's really good. PC? try pspad or html-kit then there's notepad++. They're all good, I've not used the pc tools extensively but I can testify for BBedit - really great program. Possibly the best code editor out there. Pete.

I use fedora linux. I've installed dreamweaver using wine and works fine

Notepad++ is very easy to use and light on your system...
lots of plugins
