CMS help

I posted this question in the HTML section yesterday, but have more of an idea of what i need, I think. Im making someone a site and theywant to be able to change some ofthe photos easily on the homepage with no web skills. I think what i need is some kinda of CMS. Is there one out there that will be easy for me to install, and easy for them to change the photos?

Re: CMS help

Phixon, if you wonder why you aren't getting a lot of answers, it's probably because the people who inhabit this thread are more attuned to creating a CMS than using one.

I have looked at the Joomla page, and that is about all I know about prepackaged CMS. Once I started to learn php, my interest in CMS's fell to zero. It's too easy and too much fun to make your own! Plus, you can tailor it to do exactly what you want; my understanding of Joomla is that the basic engine is hard/impossible to modify.

Re: CMS help

There are plenty of free 'photo gallery' scripts out there:

A CMS might be more than you need.

Re: CMS help

Im still a bit lost, and to help explain exactly what i mean i have made an example of what im looking for http://www.you-wont.com/
If for example this was the site i have made, and that image in the middle was the one that they wish to update every few days, without using FlashFXP or anything, just simpilly login somewhere delete the old photo and put the new one in. Thats what I am trying to achieve but lost!
