It sounds like something is already hosting on port 80. Is IIS running?
As for the log error, you should change that in the conf file. |

i have IIS turned off, and have also set it to port 81 just be sure it doesnt interfere...?

Then I'm a bit stumped. If you're still not getting anywhere go to start > run and in the box type 'cmd' (assuming you're running 2000 or XP).
Then type 'netstat'. On the left will be all the currently-established network and internet connections. Hopefully port 80 is not in use? |
