problem with blog displaying images

I have added a wordpress blog to my site and for some reason on any pages where I have made a post one of the header images does not show

At first I thought it was a CSS issue but that didnt make any sense as it shows correctly on the homepage

so heres the homepage

is displaying correctly but on a page where theres a post I get a blank space to the right

I cant think what it is - anyone? and yes please ignore the look and feel of the text and sidebar, i'm still playing

When I post my sheet I get a message saying The text that you have entered is too long (12373 characters)

is it something to do with the Path of the image being incorrect on the posts?

Meaning your image is linked correctly while you are in the root of your site, but if you go into a subfolder that link then becomes broken?
