Learning Plan
As my php gets better, I'm starting to look down the road. My intention is not to become an expert, working on bid projects for other people, but rather to build and run proprietary web pages. I need to be jack of all trades rather than master of one or two.
My path so far has been html -> css -> paintshop pro -> javascript -> php <-> mysql. I still need to learn the basics of using the gd library as well as additional general php study. I'd like some advice about my study path. Right now I'm thinking of XML and then AJAX. Other possibilities are: PERL Java ?? (looks quite hard to learn) Flash Photoshop Illustration software Any suggestions or advice? I seem to have (relatively) more aptitude for coding than graphic design, although I enjoy both.
