Hi all,
I need more info on Ruby programming language, I want to know what can we do with it, is it web developing language ? Can we create site with it ?
Any useful information will be grateful

Go to http://www.rubyonrails.org/ for more information, additionally if you have a subscription to www.lynda.com there is a really good tutorial on there to get you started.

Ruby is a language that was developed and released in 1995 by some Japanese Guy ( Yukihiro "Matz" Matsumoto) and Rails is the framework developed by David Heinemeier Hansson in 2005 on which Ruby runs on. so it's pretty much like C# or VB being the language and .NET being the framework.

Ruby is the language, Ruby on Rails is a framework. RoR is to Ruby what CakePHP is to PHP.
