Okay Let me rephrase this

What should I know/have between software/understanding etc before I try to author a xml playlist that will go into a flash video player? I am such a newbie it's not funny and I'm trying to get my site doghousetv.com off and running and this is all that is holding me back currently. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
