XML Help for Newbie - Formatting Content
Can I format "text" in an XML file so that browser will produce bold, italic, underline and link info?
I am developing a site and would like to use an XML file to "feed" say the NEWS page. Rather than use a static page for same and the client needing a diploma in webpage design to do the daily editing, I have set up a page so that the client can use simple ftp updates of one XML file allows quick content updating and . I have been successful at loading table cells with text, images, links, etc. and with appropriate CSS format final presentation have a great looking page totally changeable via the XML file. The only thing I don't know - is it possible to format text - eg The quick brown fox . . . within "text" in XML and have the browser display random attributes set by client. Your comments, referral to tutelage sites or example files would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation |
