[SOLVED] Please help with creating a Mailing list form.

Merry Christmas!

I would like to add a mailing list option to my website and for the information people leave to be added automatically to a data base.

Any advise welcome, links to tutorials etc.

Well you could create your own database using MySql or whatever one you prefer, and use php and an insert sql query to insert thier details into the database.

Although im sure there are scripts that may do this for you, so have a look out for that.

Okay, i have three links that may be a good start for you.. They revolve around PHP & Mysql

Firstly, you can get acquainted with PHP

Then you can look at storing/retrieving data from a database with PHP

then the actual sending of the emails

Or if you wanted a pre-made script..

a good place to start would be www.hotscripts.com which has many free and paid scripts.
