I have a button question
Hi.
Ive designed a template using photoshop from a tutorial that i found. Only problem is that it does not mention anything about making the navigation buttons work. How can i do this so i can have an actual working website?. Do i have to slice the section where the buttons would be and then through it all into frontpage and html the site there?. I should have just stuck to making this in code lol. I have an intermediate grasp of HTML. thanks Last edited by shammy2007; Dec 21st, 2007 at 20:52. |

Re: I have a button question
I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean. Have you designed an image of a web layout? Have you got a link to this tutorial or could you post what you have designed so far?

Re: I have a button question
I would use CSS to re-create your page. Check out the stickies in the CSS Forum.

Re: I have a button question
this is the tutorial That i tried to make.
http://www.anothertutorialsite.com/p...tfolio-layout/ As you can see, on the side of the template there is the navigation buttons. But there is nothing about how to link them so users can navigate the site. Ive been looking into CSS and im thinking that may be my best option. |

Re: I have a button question
CSS is your option
I can't see any need for graphics at all though. Just use plain text and styling

Re: I have a button question
You can design your button with graphic images..
and use <img src="filename.jpg"> to put them in your page! You might want to google for "Creating CSS button"
