Help with thumbnails of webpages for my site

Hey everyone!
First off I just wanted to say that I have been coming here every day and taking in everything that I can. What a great site and a valuable resource. Ok, I am learning as I go along and I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to. How do I make a thumb of a website. I tried doing this with Alt/screenprint, but it leaves the browser info on the image. Here is an example of what I am looking for:

Can anybody help me out or point me in the right direction. Thanks so much!

Lee

Don't forget to optimize the screenshot before you post it on the web

Use something like Paintshop Pro or photoshop and resize the image to a thumbnail size.

If you just specify a size using html all it does it resize the image to fit the page but the file size will still be the same. It helps people with slow internet connections so they don't have to download massive image file sizes

Here is a nice program for creating/resizing an image to a desired thumbnail size:

EasyThumbnails
