firts steps with web design are learning html which im doing but does this mean all the code ?? and then css which seems to be easy
now what can someone please tell me what to tutorials to read dreamweaver seems to advanced ive read creating webistes for dummies which is v usefull what else can i use / learn |

I'd suggest you loose DW for the time being ... at least until you can hand-code a site properly.
HTML and CSS go hand in and. Stuff like bgcolor or background ... attributes that are now deprecated should be handled by CSS. HTMLDog is a good place to start. Check the stickies on the HTML and CSS forums, the Beginners' Resources forum, the articles and the newsletter. |

i was on html dog reading a css tutorial which was fine but when i save it to view it it doesnt work do you save a css file as .css or htm
how does this work? i have an html document with css in it and save it as htm or lnk it to another file saved as css which one cheers |
