Hi All- General intro plus MP3s

A very warm welcome to you you all. I have been trying to set up a website for my band for, ooh, the last two days and I'm sure I'll be coming to you for help on numerous occasions over the next few weeks. To begin I have one very simple question - how do I get MP3s on there. I'm using Dreamweaver, which will no-doubt disgust the more serious amongst you but - until I get my head round HTML I need it. I have the MP3s in a separate folder on my server called 'Music' and the link simply points to the relevant track in it; but the public site keeps giving me 'site not found'; although the local version automatically loads the MP3. Any ideas?

At least with Dreamweaver you can gradually slide over to code view as you learn more

I'm not sure on the answer to your MP3 question, but if nobody answers it on here, you might better to post it into another area of the forum, this 'Introduce Yourself' area is pretty much just for introducing yourself! And for us to welcome you with open arms and smile at you to show how pleased we are that you joined us

I'd recommend using a very simple Flash script to load and play your MP3s. This way you can guarantee cross-browser compatibility.
