Help With Page Rotates

Hi

I'm currently building a new website for the hospital radio station I volunteer at in Dreamweaver 8.

I am wanting the home page to rotate on a daily basis. Basically, I will design a home page for each day of the week and I want say Thursday's page to be the homepage if it's Thursday etc. (I hope I've explained this clearly??).

How can I do this? I'm using an FTP server. Is it something I need to do in Dreamweaver?

Thanks
DJPT.

What? Are you saying you want the date to change on your home page daily? If so this is JavaScript. If you are saying you want a different style or layout everyday of the week you could do this with CSS and JavaScript or PHP. If you care to give a better description, I will do the same!

OK scrap that idea, it's too complicated to explain.

How do I display a certain image on the homepage on certain days automatically?

Okay so no you are wanting to rotate an image depending on the day of the week? If so this is JavaScript and maybe some PHP.

Yes that's right.

Can you recommend anywhere online that I could get a script from?

Sorry, Jacob, this is a PHP job.

Provided your host supports PHP, you can use the simple date functions to display different images.

Re: Help With Page Rotates

If you are using FTP cute you could upload the page every day. So whens its
Thursday your would upload the Thursday. But the only thing wrong with this idea, is you will have to be online 1 minute before that day. eg If it is Thursday 23:59:00, you would upload Friday pages. Also you have time zone problems.

Javascript could be better. But if you dont know javascript, try my idea.

I which you the best with this idea.
