Software Opinion

I'm familiar with XHTML and CSS. I was wondering if anyone here has an opinion on Adobe GoLive CS2? I'm thinking about getting this for some website development. Kind of expensive. Anyone know if it would be worth it? Thanks...

Re: Software Opinion

Never used it. I use the code view in Dreamweaver.

Have a look at the HTML Editors for some free ones.

Re: Software Opinion

So you create your websites with hand code and use Dreamweaver just to view the results? Isn't that a little expensive? I really want something that will speed up the process some and then be able to edit the code to my liking. I've been using NetFusion but it's not really code edit friendly. Thanks for the reply

Re: Software Opinion

No ... I use DW to hand-code my site and view in a proper browser. I never touch any of the other view (Split or Design)

I like DW for the tag-insight, the fact that I can work directly off the server, tag hints (where you write the < and there's a drop-down that show up with the possible element) ... plus a few more nice extensions. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Re: Software Opinion

Why not go ahead and get CS3. I don't know why you would purchase an old and outdated version...lol.

I use Coda for Mac OSX. It is the best that I have ever seen...EVER!
