Re: Display in Opera
I can't see the footer in either Firefox or Opera. I haven't used Ryan's sticky footers, but do you need the double </div> after the push div?
A couple of notes: You need to decrease the page width just a bit (try 99%) and get some left/right padding in the text columns. (I'd actually use pixels for the padding.) I get a horizontal scrollbar in Firefox, and the text in the center and right crams to the edge in both browsers. If you want a liquid display, you either have to make the buttons shrink or set the left column to a fixed width. You don't want the buttons pushing across the column boundary on smaller monitors. Very nice header/logo. I'd advise that you put a border around the photographs and captions in the center column. They could use a little Photoshop adjustment, too. Do a class ".portrait" or something. Text-align center with auto margins and play with borders; ridge 3px would give you a photo frame effect if you like the way it looks. You'll need a fixed width due to the graphic, so make it small enough that it accommodates 800px width. I'd style an hr in a color close to the frame and then a paragraph with width -10px to allow for 5px padding on the side. You can give the caption a different background and for sure a different text color. |

Wow! Thanks Mason... That's alot of information to take in all at once, but very valuable indeed! I will read and re-read until it all sinks in
