Disappearing Buttons
I developed a cascading or drop menu in FP2003 with tables instead of layers. I can get the menus to drop down, but my buttons do not stay in view. The little "x" box pops up instead after I mouse over it. Also, I cannot get a button to link (hyperlink). That task makes the link button disappear altogether, although a text box naming my link comes into view. I was sure to copy all my material to the same folder I'm working out of, but I still cannot get a true visual in Preview of what I'm doing on Design. What am I doing wrong or what step(s) am I missing the design part? Thanks for your help.

Can you show us your code or a link to the site? I'm a hands on gal!

If you are starting out, it would be in your best interest to not use Frontpage unless you use it to handcode. Move away from tables and use css and unordered lists.

If you are learning, why not learn the latest techniques versus techniques are are so outdated? We can walk you through it...

I'd say your problem is that you're using FrontPage.

Thanks for the sympathy. Wait until you see my code! I'm sorry, too, but here it is. I appreciate the help and if you can walk me through it like you said with css, I will be most appreciative. Frontpage2003 is the only web software I have. (What do I tell my boss?)
