Directory headache
Hi.
I have a web page with a link-page attached to it. All al thel inks on the page are listed underneath each other and looks very sloppy and unorganized. How do I create a directory for these links? My web page : http://my-e-marketing.com/link-partners.htm and this is what I want to do http://www.addlinkforum.com/links/ (not exactly the same - but this is the idea) Thank you Last edited by Rudi; Mar 19th, 2007 at 12:04. |

Re: Directory headache
I thought you said fifth Ryan...lol
Anyway back on-topic...would not be all that hard. You can start by learning XHTML/CSS and create that by using divs. Or if you don't have the time to learn XHTML and CSS you could use dreamwever and tables to accomplish the same effect. (Not as good as hand-coding though) |

Re: Directory headache
Sorry I forgot to respond to your PM. I think I must've just been blazing through your post. I thought you were intending to make a directory site, instead of just organizing a links page. My apologies!!!
You might try sorting them into columns using <div>'s and organizing the links in an unordered list, <ul>. Again, I'm sorry!!! I thought you were trying to make one of these: http://www.yeah.com/ It only took me three tries of typing in random URLs before I found one. |
