Learning

Hi All,

I have completed my first website which includes css, php and javascript. But it took me a while to do the site. Before I take on any more projects I want to be more comfortable in what im doing i.e. planning the website, writing up a structure, designing the site and then the development as well as getting a domnain name, hosting and search engine stuff.

Ive read loads of websites but, i just forget things after ive read something. Does anyone know of some decent books to buy which could help me out?

I mostly enjoy the development side and not the graphic design so i work with someone whos very good at it.

Thanks

Re: Learning

Have a look at the thread Resources for learning how to use CSS for layout, I've put a "Books" section in there. All 4 are "must haves" IMO!

Re: Learning

Hi,

I'm still relatively new to web design. I learned the basics at college. They recommended a fairly user friendly site.. http://bestwebsite.50webs.com ..I'm sure how much help this will be, but I found it gave some good general pointers.
