Can some please tell if it is better for `seo` to make one large page on a website or lots of pages?

Thanks in advance

Re: Home page

I don't think it really makes a difference as most search engines will spider all pages under the main url given.

I guess what really matters is that the site is visually stimulating but still easy enough for people to read - basically make it readable instead of it being too full of keywords (people don't read website text in the same way as they would read a brochure), ideal keyword densit is between 3-5%, anyone writing an SEO piece for your site will know how to calculate this.

Others here might have something more to add to that.

The google spider doesn't read more than 100kb of data on a page so make sure you're well within that size (excluding images ). I'd recommend a mx of 75kb just incase you have a slow server.

Nice one Stu, I didn't know that! I guess that makes sense but I never thought of it like that!

Cheers, and I'm sure 'Hello123' will appreciate that too!

In fairness.... i should point out that you would need a ridiculously large page in order to reach 100K.

This page comes close to a quarter of that.... and thats a big ass page! APPLE OFFICIAL: None of our software compatible on Vista!
