hi, i,m in the process of building a books website and i want to create a spread sheet sort of database for the books and enable customers to buy the
books online, implement paypal or something.I'm just trying to figure out how best to go about it as i have never done this sort of thing. My client already has already got a server solution that includes e-commerce.

1. good luck!
2. If your client has OScommerce, they have several working bookstores you can us as examples.
3. Another option is to just go online to look at existing online bookstores (not amazon) try a smaller or specialty store. ie mystery, science fiction , literature, non fiction.
4. have fun. online bookstore is what I am working on right now...
