Updating using a range?
Hi,
Is there any way to have a form add records using a date range.. for example.. (text box) from 11/07/2005 - (text box) to 11/15/2005 ...and have it add specified values to a table for all the dates between the two entered dates without having previously entered all the dates into the table? |

Re: Updating using a range?
are you talking about adding records with a start date and end date or modifing records within a certain date range?

Re: Updating using a range?
No it's for interest rates.. wich are updated a week at a time.. they database is going to be used w/ VB so that employees can enter a specific date and pull the interest rates on that date.. but the rates change once a week and stay that way for an entire week.. so instead of entering 7 different dates each time the interest changes.. i am trying to set it up so that i can enter a range and have it add the rates for each day in that range.
phew... I am pretty sure i can do this by previously entering every date into the table and just updating the interest rates for those dates each week.. but i would hate to have to go in and enter every day for the next 5 years, plus 3 years back.. unless there is an easy way to do that |
