Access Memo Field

Hi again,

As I stated in my introduction, I'm new to MS Access, and have no clue about some of the other programs discussed on this forum, so bear with me!

I'm trying to set up an access database that will hold exam questions. I have some questions that are multiple choice- I was thinking the best way to store the answer choices would be to have a memo field in my table (since some of the answer choices are quite long). Right?

The problem is that I don't know how to skip to the next line in between each choice. For example, I want it to look like this in my report:

a. red
b. blue
c. yellow
d. brown

Instead, it is reading all as one long string. My guess is that I have to put some kind of code in the "format" box when I'm looking at the table in design view. . .

Can anyone explain what to do in simple terms for someone as clueless as myself? (I saw a post asking about something similar, but I didn't understand the explanation!)

Thanks!
