Terms and Conditions

Hi,

I'm in the process of creating T&C's for my website. I found a website which has the same sort of terms and conditions as our company will have, i need to know if i copied someone else's terms and conditions but tweeked it to meet our company, is that ok?

I'm pretty sure there is at least another 100 companies in the world that use the same TOS. However, I suppose it would be best to email them and ask.

But generally they can't take no legal action?

Terms and Conditions should be specific to your company. That being said they are usually almost identical company to company. Take a look at some, but make up your own....in the long run you will know what's in there and why.
