- Exposure to some of the following is essential:-
- RPG ILE, RPG400, CLP, SDA.
- Experience of using a CASE tool to develop software preferred but not essential.
- Experience of software design within a Manufacturing or Engineering Company.
- Exposure to ERP software solutions.
- Person should be educated to Degree level in an IT discipline.
- Must be able to deliver robust, innovative solutions, to agreed timetable/cost, either as part of a small team or working alone.
- Scope of work will include software analysis, design, creation, documentation and implementation.
- Good communication skills are essential, as position may involve interfacing with users at all levels within the company.
- Some travel may be necessary depending on the project.
