
HTML/CSS Front-end Developer
(3 - 5 years commercial experience or equivalent)

This is an exciting opportunity to work for GlobusMedia, a successful and growing web development company in North London focused on:
- Implementing web-projects for client like Sony Ericsson, Red Bull Racing, Epson, Whyte and Mackay, Vladivar, Honda F1 Racing, ArcelorMittal, and Alliance Boots.
- Developing Digital Asset Management, CMS and Email Marketing software.
We provide an integrated service spanning consultancy, design, production, hosting and maintenance. You will get interesting and demanding projects, and opportunities to learn and expand your capabilities and knowledge within a dynamic working environment.
You will have the ability to develop XHTML and CSS templates from supplied designs and produce these as well-structured, accessible code with a minimum of supervision.
You should also have some knowledge of a server-based scripting language, as you will quickly be expected to incorporate some code/tagging into the HTML templates. You will ideally also have an eye for design and layouts.
You must have a strong knowledge of the following:
- XHTML and CSS for both styling and layout
- JavaScript, DOM
- Accessibility issues and W3C guidelines
- Dreamweaver, Photoshop
- Some server-side scripting experience (e.g: ColdFusion, PHP, ASP)
It will be great if you in addition have experience in:
- Adobe Flash
- XML and XSL
- Content management systems
- SQL
