Help with Admin section coding of website (Will pay for help)

Hi all,

I need some serious help with the coding side of my website and I am looking to pay someone reasonably for their services. I have designed a very good front end of my site, but I need a very good coder to design the back end, e.g. the admin section. My site is an e-commerce site where I sell electronic products such as, consoles, games, DVD players, TVs, in car audio products, etc.

I need someone who can code the admin section for me. I need someone who can integrate the admin section with my front end. The admin section has to be able to do the following functions:
Add new products, add pictures with new items, delete products, change item descriptions, update prices, add new categories, change banners, view orders, print out invoices for orders, and everything that is done on the admin section should reflect on the website. Basically everything that should be able to be done in an admin section I need, and anyone that has designed websites should know exactly what I’m talking about.

I don’t want a website designed, because I already have one, I just need someone to do the admin section. Please contact me on abbeycasal@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks for looking

I think you are going about this the wrong way. There are a number of free open source e-commerce sites out there. no need to re-invent the wheel.

Look at those, and then customize the look and feel of the e-commerce site to your template.

Thats the easiest way, IMHO.

Re: Help with Admin section coding of website (Will pay for help)

Hey Buddy thanks alot for the reply,

Too be honest i dont have a great deal of knowledge in this side of web development, so are you saying that i can find free code that i can use to integrate with my website? If so that is great. Can you please send me some more information. For example websites were i can go. I checked the google link that you gave me, but i was not really sure were to go. So if you could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Best Regards

Re: Help with Admin section coding of website (Will pay for help)

Yep, free code, the best kind !

But it works the other way around, you get the free code and then integrate your site into it. Basically, it comes with a whole shoopping site solution, and you just then customize it to look like you want.

Three of the most popular are:
http://www.opencart.com/
http://www.oscommerce.com/
http://www.zen-cart.com/

Now, if you look at the out-of-the-box solution of oscommerce it doesn't have anything about it that would make customers want to stay. However, you can customise it look like you want. i.e change it to look like this

You can choose any solution you want, and if you don't have the skills to change the template yourself you can pay someone to do it for you. A great website is get a freelancer.

Another option for you is to use either google checkout or paypal pro or any other cart solution i.e. nochex

Good luck.
