Web designer urgently needed
Hi All
I am in urgent need of a web designer for a permanent role in Ireland. the spec is as follows:
My client is the #1 innovator when it comes to high-performance PCs, Notebooks, and Workstations. We like our websites to follow the same direction – innovative, creative and cutting-edge. We are now recruiting for a Web Designer who can help us achieve this. The goal is to provide the best user experience possible through creative design and interactive content. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, energetic and has excellent attention to detail and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Position will report to Marketing Manager.
Design various web-related collateral including product launch content, specialised landing pages, microsites, banners, and newsletters for the EMEA.
Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams to fulfil web project needs.
Follow web standards and design structures established within the company.
Collaborate with other members of design team on various projects.
Develop cross-browser compatible and W3C compliant web-pages.
Stay up-to-date with latest design trends and web technologies.
Always deliver your very best and strive towards improvement.
Requirements:
Strong design portfolio showcasing professional web design expertise with an emphasis on clean, sophisticated layouts, strong typography, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and the latest web design techniques.
4+ years experience in the web design field.
Ability to think outside-the-box and proven experience of pushing the limits of web design through creativity, technology, layout, and usability.
Working knowledge of X/HTML, CSS, cross-browser compatibility and Flash.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to think strategically as well as creatively.
Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines.
