Freelance Web Developer needed!!!
Hiya
We are seeking a freelance web developer to work on www.magicboomerang.com. Ideally looking for someone with at least 2 years experience. Bit of a legthy spec below for your info: Introduction Company: Boomerang Location: Hours: full-time Start date: Immediate We are a well-known media solutions business looking for enthusiastic talent to develop our web presence across several commercial sites, mostly positioned in the consumer printing and greetings areas. Besides daily amendments and troubleshooting on our sites, you will be at the centre of the development of our existing services, as well as raising new ones right from conception. You must be pragmatic, driven and prepared to do whatever it takes to get the job done. In return, you will be at the centre of a very exciting online venture, driven by a successful, established business. Job Definition Good knowledge and commercial experience of the following is essential: · Java · Javascript · PHP, MySQL and template based sites · HTML, XHTML and CSS · Adobe Creative Suite programs · Macromedia Suite programs Experience of the following will be highly valued: · Drupal content management platform · Good web design · Apache Tomcat · ISS & Windows Servers · Knowledge of accessibility guidelines / web standards and best practices · Understanding of what makes good web applications and the "Web 2.0" concepts Ideally, we are looking for someone with at least two years' industrial experience, but home-based experience will be viewed favourably too. You must be able to organise yourself well and know how to conduct your own research to find the tools that you will need along the way. You will need to have a broad software and applications knowledge to cope with our diverse range of sites and should be familiar with the online community so you know where to go for further help.
