Junior Web Designer Required (Milton Keynes - United kingdom)

1. Role Overview


Excellent opportunity for a creative and knowledgeable junior (any age) web designer to be part of an established web/media agency based in Milton Keynes, Bucks. Ideally we are looking for someone with an understanding and a passion for front-end web design to fulfil this role.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of projects including the creation of corporate multi-lingual web sites, flash movies, interactive e-learning components, branding, online promotions, e-marketing templates and design of multimedia applications for a range of customers including many international and well-known businesses.

This is a significant role where you will work closely with other experienced designers and a team of expert developers handling your own client interaction in a friendly but dynamic environment.

You will need to be a team player and have an enthusiastic attitude and be willing to learn and grow within your role.

2. Essential Skills
· Photoshop / ImageReady / Fireworks
· Illustrator
· Flash (ActionScript knowledge an advantage)
· Hand-coding HTML / XHTML
· CSS
· Microsoft Office Applications
· Personal organisation
· Understanding of cross browser/platform compatibility
· Experience of Mac and PC platforms
· Good written and communication skills

3. Desirable Skills
· Understanding of content management systems a definite advantage
· WAI
· Client liaison
· XSL, XML
· Any 3D/Video experience
· JavaScript

4. Other Responsibilities
