Lightbulb Networking skills

Hi!

First of all I want to make it clear that I'm finnish and English is not my first language so bear with me

For a while I've had a business idea about an internet community for young people with ICT-skills (students perhaps). This community would connect these talented youngsters together and make it possible for them to produce real, quality, sellable products and services. These products and services might include web design, intranet solutions, basic advertising agency -services etc.

How everything works, is that the community negotiates a deal with a customer. Then the community forms a team of people from it's member database, who have the needed skills and knowledge to get the job done. The project gets forwarded to this team. The team does it's job and the community sells the product to the customer through a company that is yet to be founded. The team gets paid for it's job and the company gets a provision. All money is transferred trough the company. None of the members of the community have a working contract with the company, the company buys the communitymembers' services as if they were freelancers.

What's in it for the members:
- easy, fast and risk-free way to use, develop and sell your skills: you don't have to form a contract, you can quit anytime you want, you're not legally bounded to anything.
- you get to work in a company-like environment
- you get to know other talented young people
- fun?

What's in it for the customers:
- we can offer everything cheaper: we don't have a heavy organization, we have young "employees", we don't have premises, our only expenses are the money we pay for the members who are working on the project.
- we are more flexible: we (could) have a VERY large memberbase that enables us to form project teams that are exactly what are needed for a certain project
- we are faster: we could act worldwide enableing us to have production 24/7

I'm located in Finland and have tried to form a team around this idea to work on it here in Finland. We currently have a 4 person development team, but we have found ourselves a bit stuck! We'd like to find people who have too much freetime and who would be interested in joining us to make this idea possible! I feel, making this an international project from the very beginning is only a good thing.

I guess that's it in a nutshell. Of course, I'm more than happy to answer any questions or comments.

Best regards,
Jaakko Parikka
