PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
The ability to articulate, design and communicate creative concepts to the business effectively and passionately.
- Take primary responsibility for the development of design solutions in response to marketing briefs.
- Designing new website layouts (incorporating colour schemes and HCI concepts), maintaining and updating the current internet, intranet and extranet sites, helping in developing the main corporate website
- The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, liaise with all staff to ensure that the best possible design solutions are offered. Create innovative and exciting design solutions and have an eye for detail with excellent conceptual skills.
- Understand strengths and weaknesses of the web environment and execute visual solutions accordingly.
- To receive requirements and to translate these into working specification for sign off
- Maintenance of GUI standards, templates
- Creative origination within the company’s identity, brand and style guidelines, design and development of the user interface for staff customers and the public
- Execute multiple viable concepts within the specified timeframes
- Knowledge and understanding of usability and accessibility
- Knowledge of W3C
TECHNICAL
Dreamweaver Studio 8
Fireworks
Illustrator
Flash
Photoshop
Experience in other design software packages would be an advantage
