Right click disable..

just wondering who i set up a right click disable on my websites.. i don't want people copying my images. I've tried a few html codes from various sites that are supposed to do it and pasted it between the head and head sections on my webpage coding but it still doesn't do it? what am i doing wrong?

You can disable right clicking by using JavaScript BUT a user can disable JavaScript in their browser.

Can I see your site to see where you are going wrong with this code - without code, we cant help!

Moved to JavaScript Section.
As Marc said you can use JS to tryand stop this but it's easily passable even with JavaScript enabled.
You could watermark your images if you are really concerned.

as said above, it is absolutely impossible to protect you images, the only way to 'help' stop copying is a watermark, but the drawback is that when it is on your site you have a watermark going across your images which can spoil the look

but if you do use a watermark - someone with enough skill could probably remove it and re-fix the image back up again

I think that would be your best bet, at the end of the day you would be going to all the effort of installing and maintaining the code, but if some-one is determined enough they will be able to get your images.

Not everyone has the skill to remove watermarks either so your best option IMO
