I’m new to the whole programming seen and need a little help can someone tell me what the .substring does

With respect, It sounds like you need to work through some tutorials if your that new to programming.

Come to the forums to get questions answered when your stuck with a particular problem.

BTW. Its used to obtain part of a string.
