Looking for feedback on new Milescript language

Hello all,

My company, Point5u, LLC, just went live with our open-source project, Milescript. It's available at http://milescript.org. In a few words, Milescript is an object-oriented, strongly-styped, high-level language that compiles to Javascript. It's aim is to make web application development a robust and repeatable process. It is still in the early stages of development, but we believe it is at a point where a lot of you could find it very useful. We would love to hear any and all feedback as we aim to grow this into a truly community-driven project. Thanks again!

It looks very interesting.
Could you list some of the features it brings?

Re: Looking for feedback on new Milescript language

It would be my absolute pleasure. Some of the highlights:

Inheritance, Abstracts, Interfaces
Delegates and Generic Types
Function and Constructor Overloading
Object-Oriented Design.

A more complete list can be found at http://point5u-trac.cvsdude.com/Mile...nguageFeatures.

Also, for a live demo of a program written in the language, see:

Thanks for your interest

Re: Looking for feedback on new Milescript language

We don't currently have any Ajax packages implemented in the LibDom

We have been working pretty feverishly on the language and the compiler. There is an external class for XMLHTTPRequest that you could use to get started though. You could be the first! It's open source, so any help we can get would be infinitely appreciated.
