Execute telnet client or Hyperterminal on local computer
Hello,
I would like to execute the telnet or hyperterminal client application on my local PC from a link/button on my web page. The local PC and the web server are different computers. Since I do not want to execute telnet/hyperterminal on the web server, I thought I should use javascript to execute telnet/hyperterminal client application on my local PC. However, I have not been able to find information on how to do this. So, I want to execute telnet/hyperterminal REMOTE_IP_ADDRESS, then I will be prompted for a username/password. Is there a way to accomplish this using javascript? Thanks for any help. -Teresa |
