Hi guys.

I need some code for a page I have. It needs to basically do the following...

If came from 'ffboxes.htm' then
goto 'coolboxes.htm'
else
stay where you are.


lol obviously I'm no good at javascript. But if someone could help me out then that would be great,

Why not just have the link of ffboxes.htm have a link to coolboxes.htm in the first place?
I'm not sure if there is a way to do this with javascript, but it would be better to do it with a server side script such as php or asp.

Can't use PHP as I need this code to be in 404.shtml file. Google has still got a page of mine called ffboxes.htm which is now called coolboxes.htm, when people click on the google link to ffboxes.htm it takes them to my 404 page. But if they come from ffboxes.htm I want it to take them to coolboxes.htm, But i still need the 404 page for people coming from other pages that do not exist anymore.

Renaming the page is not an option. This has to be done in Javascript or any other language that can be used in an SHTML file. I know how to do it in PHP but custom 404 pages cannot be .php
