Hi is there any way to do this with php or any other language.
I want the user to be able to click on area on a page.
I then want to be able to find out somehow what area they have clicked on.
Kinda Hard to explain but its to allow me to upload an image to this area the user has selected.

Ive been told you can do this with javascript.

There can be no uploading of any sort using javascript.

In any case, yes, it does seem to be very hard to explain, as I hardly understand.
PM me and I'll consider helping you out, if you can give me more accurate information.

You can certainly do an onClick in the area to trigger an image switch. This just doesn't sound all that complicated to me.

Uploading the choice to a log or database is not something I've gotten to yet I've got at least another week or two studying javascript before I look at PHP or XML (not sure which I'll do first). Heck, I still have trouble getting boxes to behave right in css.

javascript works client side

php for example, works server side. they do differnt things...
