Can someone explain this to me?

Hey folks,

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to JS. What I want to do on my site is click a button and then somewhere else on the page comes a Flash video without changing pages. This required JS. I found an example of what I want to do on www.ixwebhosting.com (click on Erika.)

I looked at the code and saw that it has some kind of java anchor on the button that sends the Flash into a free layer down at the side of the screen.

If someone could set me up with a tutorial or some kind of code that I need to put in the <head> or a seperate .js file, that would be awesome.
