I would like to know how to check the current value and the previous value entered by user before changes.

for example, the form will allow user to enter customer number. The first time user enter 10 then change to 22

customer number : 10 -> change to 22

how do I get the previous value which is 10 in this case

1. where does the prior value come from? Do you have a forum with default values?
2. Do you have a loop where a user can input data many times?
3. Do you want to know how many times a user may make a mistake and then if the user has, let them edited it?
4. Did you look at the previous input and decide the input was bad so you would refresh the form with a message for the user to see what the error was, and fix it?
