Practical to buy an apple? Only if you can afford it without breaking the bank. I'm a bit baised to apple's operating system, I think it is quite a bit better than windows, so I'll give you my vote for buying a better computer in an apple, that is if it's cost is practical to you.

Apple will dual boot with Windows XP soon, so it could be the more sensible option for flexibility and begins to warrant the extra layout.
You may have to wait until later in the year to see such a system and I don't know whether it will similarly accomodate Windows Vista when (if ever) that gets released. |
