Re: regarding Search engine updates

Something called the "Sandbox" - ranks your site high until it has been properly crawled... Google "sandbox" for more information!

Hi Hayden,

Welcome and let us know if we can help!!

If you site is fairly new, the google 'sandbox' will keep your site very low in search rankings....

You should start to crawl out after a few months.

Sorry, I thought that G placed the site abnormally high, and then after its crawled it completely it drops down.
Is page 1 low or high???

Re: regarding Search engine updates

Craig, sometime results will come in near the top for a VERY short time.... these are considered 'fresh' results..... you'll easy spot them, coz they have a date on the result. These usually drop after a day or two.

Nothing to do with sandbox though.

Re: regarding Search engine updates

Yeah, Rob is right as this thing happens.. at very first your site will be on very top SERPs but in 3 to 4 days it will fall to 100 of SERPs... Though not to worry just work hard on that and keep wathing results... it may take few months... but if you have done good work sure result is going to come good there... not to forget 26 rules before developing a website... and result is in your hand...
