A up

Hi, im Jon.

I know absolutely nothing about web design. I would like to create my own online shop to help me sell the stuff i already sell on ebay and at markets.

Any help, links, or tips with web design including what software to use, how to make a basic site, and how to host it online would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards, Jon.

Re: A up

hmm if your just selling stuff.
might be cheaper to just design your auctions if you get me.
to have your own site,
you have to pay for a domain, hosting, designing and developing.
but if you want to design it yourself.
Learn html first:
w3schools.com
then css.
well that's what I'd recommend.
since this site will be selling things,
you will need to use e-commerce (google it for info).
this may require you have a developer set it up for you, which will cost from £150 + i think.
there you go

Welcome to Webforumz Jon! Glad to have you here. To get the best response from your question I would ask it in the new to web design area, rather then in the intros area!
