Hi everyone

Hi, I'm very much a novice to all this, and was looking for advice off more serious web site designers. I have 3 websites up and running but they are mainly just plain and simple.
I want to do a website with a log in system, and be able to show people their own details that they have entered once they have logged in.
I really haven't a clue on even how to attempt this, can anybody point me in the right direction please.

You need a server side language for this kind of function such as php or asp.

Sorry I am completely new to this side of things.

With my other websites I have used netfirms to host, they have a user tool called database and mySQL is there a way of doing it through that?

Yep mysql is a database software for using with php
