Hi there!
Hi. I am new to this forum and new to web design. I have been learning all I can about it over the last year, and would like to have my own small free lance web design business soon (sort of a late in life total change in careers). I have dabbled in Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash, and am now learning XHTML and CSS. (I'm working through the books Eric Meyer on CSS and More Eric Meyer on CSS, and can't put them down!).

Re: Hi there!
Hi ya, Webmachine. Please note: You are never to old to make a career change. I retired after 27 and some odd months of torror and started on the road to web design mastery. I am happier than I have every been since I started working. This is a great place to come and learn more. We have many experienced designers and developer who really enjoy helping others to improve their work. If you have question, just ask...someone will probably have the answer. And if they don't they will probably point you in the right direction. So, enjoy your stay and ask, ask, ask.
