Total Newbie DHTLM Menu in <td> question

Hello all,

I am trying to make a really simple page (that hopefully will grow.) I downloaded a drop down menu from milonic but I can't figure out how to anchor it where I want it. I try to put it inside a <td> but it floats to the top of the page.

Does anyone have any advice? See the link below.

Many thanks!

Paulo

Paulo,

That code you downloaded is useless, I suggest you download this:

www.udm4.com (requires a licence for a commercial purpose)

to see it in action check out one of my client's websites:

http://www.autismlifeline.com/

Alternatively, you could use Son of Suckerfish, which can be found here:

http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/

and seen in action here on my website,

http://www.darryladie.com/

Hope this helps, if you need help implementing the above menus then just post back and I will help

Darryl

Re: Total Newbie DHTLM Menu in <td> question

Hi Darryl,

Thanks I'll give that a try.

The code I downloaded is functional (it doesn't have any drop downs yet because the site is so simple) the problem is that I can't place it where I want it on the page. It keeps appearing at the top of the page and I want it to be at the bottom of the green header.

I nested the <script type="text/javascript" src="menu_data.js"></script> inside a <td> tag but it still appears at the top of the page.

Incidentally, I did manage to make it appear where I wanted it but it would make the background table disappear!

Par for the course frustration, I suppose.

I'll try the other code you suggested. Thanks for offering to help implement!

Best,
Paulo
