Re: Hi from London
Heya Stephie, if you can try and stay away from Frontpage and learn to hand code, here is a good starting point: http://w3schools.com/

Re: Hi from London
When I started about 10 months - a yr ago I started with HTML, and learned all the basic tags and what they actually stand for. After this I started to learn XHTML which is basically the same just that all tags < > have to have and end tag. Then CSS which is used for styling your site layouts, I am currently learning CSS to design the layouts of my sites as I normally use tables for my layouts instead of CSS.
Overall I would say that it is essential to learn all three so that you have a better understanding although most people use XHTML and CSS. Here are some resources to help get you started: HTML/XHTML http://www.w3schools.com/ CSS http://www.w3schools.com/ http://www.css3.com/ VALIDATING SITES http://validator.w3.org/ As for a HTML text editor I just use Notepad Hope this helps.
