Hi everyone!

I am a total newbie to this game...I am a university student in Canada and I also have my own business. We are currently working on the website for the company. I have a friend who can do a lot of neat stuff, however it is his hobbie more than anything else, so his abilities are somewhat limited. We ran into somewhat of a problem, and I am wondering what would be the best way to solve it.

We need our customers to fill out a form on the website, attach a couple of pictures, and have all that info emailed to an e-mail address. What my friend told me was that while the text was not a problem, a picture presented some difficulties. I am not exactly sure why he cannot do it (I will have to talk to him about it more). What would be the best way around this? We thought of maybe making a downloadable form that customers can download from our website, fill it out, and email it back to us, but it may be too much hassle. We need to figure out what can be done and consider different options. Any help or suggestions will be very helpful! If anyone needs more information to answer the question, ask away and I will try my best ot get it to you.

What are you guys coding in? php or asp.

He is doing the website with html and flash. He is not sure how to do the php (but he said that is what you would have to use to do what we want). Like I said, he is somewhat limited with capabilities. I am wondering if there is another way to do it...Also, I am not too sure how big of an algorithm you need. If it is like loading a file in VB or C++, maybe it would be possible to find an existing algorithm that was done by someone. But if it is a lot more complicated, then I am not even sure. We are just trying to avoid paying someone several grand to do the site. That is why we are looking for possible alternatives.
