A dreamer lookin' to move..

Hey there. M'name is Felicia and for the past six years I've wanted to move to England, the past year I've been slowly working on it, and finally in the past month I've finally gotten my butt moving.

I'm currently a Production Artist for an e-learning company, and I love my job, but moving to the UK has been a dream of mine for many years.. So I'm finally taking steps towards reaching it. But it's really hard, being on the other side of the world an all..

From August 27th to September 21 I will be available in the UK, and will be taking this time to look for a position (preferably in the Surrey area, because that is where I'll be moving). I qualify for an ancestry visa and everything, but they won't let me move to the UK 'til I have a job.. Sooo.. Here I am looking for a chance to -finally- follow my dream. And I've been working pretty hard on it, too.

If anyone has any suggestions, can help me with finding a position, or would just like to check out my online portfolio and send back opinions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have design and programming knowledge using Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite. I also have programming experience using xhtml, css and php.

Contact details are on my site:

Thanks!

Little damp, Ross?

Hi, Felicia, good luck on your move. I have done that many times in my life and it is always a happy scary time in a new place or city. I was lucky on my last move.. I had a choice of jobs, so I could select the one I wanted most and where it was located. Now I love it!!

Your best bet would be to ask this question in the Webforumz Cafe and not the intro forum!
